Itinerary and highlights
Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha after breakfast at around 7:00 AM. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Maasai plains toward Tarangire National Park, a park famous for hosting one of the largest concentrations of elephants in Tanzania.
Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will lead you into a full-day game drive across diverse habitats,from open grasslands and acacia woodlands to the life giving Tarangire River, the park’s main wildlife magnet.
Tarangire is especially known for its impressive elephant families, often seen roaming in large numbers. You may also encounter giraffes gracefully browsing treetops, zebras grazing in herds, wildebeests, buffalo, impalas, warthogs, and predators such as lions resting under acacia trees.
At midday, you will stop at a designated picnic site inside the park to enjoy your packed lunch while taking in panoramic views of the wilderness. After a short relaxation break, the game drive continues deeper into the park as you search for more wildlife and capture unforgettable photographs.
In the late afternoon, you will exit the park and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.

Meeting and pickup information
- Guests will be picked up from their hotel lobby or designated meeting points within Arusha. Please be ready at least 10–15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Our Wildpack Safaris driver-guide will arrive in a branded safari vehicle and confirm your booking details upon arrival. Specific pickup instructions will be shared in advance where necessary.
